Well, it is almost March, but …
Everything — large and small, pastel and not! pastel — is blooming here in the South. Fact is, we’ve been sans a decent Winter for years, and are unlikely to get another. Global Warming, don’t you know, but that’s just Fake Science.
I’m glad to see that they still have actual Winters in places like Prince Edward Island, though perhaps residents there might not want them to be quite so ‘actual’. These pictures go out to my ‘Ether Friends’ there.
But, even if you aren’t a P. E. Islander, you can look at them, too. It’s okay.

Well thank you kind sir – every so often we need a reminder here on the Island that there will be snows of yesteryear in a few months time. We are getting a great thaw at the moment but know full well that it is Sila, the Inuit god of weather, toying with us and soon he’ll let loose the wind and the snow to punish us for our foolish optimism. In the meantime we can look on beauty provided by our “ether friends” in warmer climes.

How very nice to send those lovely flower pictures you are a gentleman. Winter in PEI has been tame or lame. Though we did have 3 big storms in 7 days last week, now everything is melting quickly with record temperature 15 degrees above normal, I am so happy that climate change is just a hoax. This big thaw also coincides with our Winter Carnival which will be very rainy and foggy. Oh well, Spring is near and soon the happy tourists will arrive on the big cruise ships from America.

We’ve just endured Storm Doris. My patio Camellia has survived.
