For thems preferring the beautiful to the vitriolic, here are Stephen’s Rothschild lilies (the national flower of Zimbabwe, FYI) that are blooming now. I attribute ownership to Stephen, as the things of beauty about the grounds are his’n.
Blooming begins with that green speartip-ish bud in front of the bloom the right, then progresses to the state top-center, and finishes with the bloom on the left.

I seldom see writers using the Appalachian accusative ‘thems’ anymore.
Where did you get it?

Well, I got “his’n” the same place;-)
I don’t know exactly what possessed me, but I did go ‘a mite’ Appalachian in that first paragraph. We encountered East Tennesseeans a number of years ago who put ‘anymore’ at the beginning of a sentence, rather than at the end of it. (Example: Anymore, I seldom see writers using the Appalachian accusative ‘thems’.) We thought it ‘quaint’, then to Stephen’s amusement, he saw me pick up the habit.
I must do a short post on this subject.
